Bavarian Environmental Pact

Bavarian Environmental Pact

Published on 17.02.2021 | 12808 views

The Bavarian Environmental Pact is a succes model for cooperative environmental protection. It acknowledges voluntary commitment for industrial environmental protection and sustainable economizing demonstrated by Bavarian companies.

The Bavarian Environmentel Pact is an agreement between the Bavarian government and the Bavarian economy. Voluntariness, taking over responsibility for environmental protection as well as cooperative action count for the fundamental principles that commitments and statements of  the Bavarian Environmental Pact have been associated with since its first signing in 1995. The rationale behind it is the government's and economy's sense of conviction that natural resources can be more effectively protected by a voluntary and reliable cooperation between government and economy rather than solely by laws and restrictions. Projects combining good practice and joint actions of both government and economy are carried out by the Bavarian Environmental Pact in order to illustrate that economy and ecology are not incompatible, conversely, they both contribute to job security and wealth within a healthy environment.

Hacker Feinmechanik has been a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact since 2007 and once again, a new project has been submitted for consideration.

In February 2021, this commitment was rewarded by a current certificate.
